Teknoware UK manufactures lighting and interior solutions for both rolling stock and road vehicles. New-build and refurbishment projects are always carried out according to the specific needs and wishes of individual customers.

The site’s core expertise lies in the production and assembly of various types of interior panels, including ceilings, partitions and sidewalls, as well as panels for cabinets. The product range is extensive, and even large and complex projects are fully manufactured and assembled on-site.

The factory produces panels using a variety of materials and manufacturing methods, but it specialises in high-pressure laminates (HPL), which are widely used in buses. HPL materials are lightweight, as well as being highly durable and long-lasting.

Projects completed by Teknoware UK can be seen in buses and trains throughout the British Isles, in many major cities, including on London’s iconic red double-decker buses.

Teknoware UK’s factory is situated in the village of Trimdon Grange in North East England, close to the charming, historic city of Durham and within easy reach of Newcastle.
