A self-contained luminaire system with a supercapacitor is a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for emergency lighting systems in buildings. Teknoware Escap luminaires are virtually maintenance free. During their lifetime of more than 15 years, you won’t have to worry about replacing the backup power source or any other parts. Equipped with a supercapacitor, a luminaire generates less waste over its lifetime, and due to minimal maintenance requirements, it produces fewer emissions than other similar systems. Having launched Escap back in 2008, we know that luminaires with Escap technology are built to last.

All Escap luminaires come with a 12-year (2+10) extended warranty. All Escap exit and emergency lights are practically maintenance-free throughout their lifetime (more than 15 years).
The Escap product range covers a wide range of exit and emergency lights for different types of buildings and applications. The ambient temperature range of Escap luminaires is from -25°C to +35°C, making them an excellent solution for outdoor applications such as carports and parking garages.
Escap luminaires feature LumiTest self-testing technology. For remote monitoring, luminaires can be connected to an AaltoCtrl wireless central monitoring system.
