Remote Monitoring Solutions
Simplicity with Remote Monitoring Systems
A remote monitoring system allows you to centrally manage several different emergency lighting systems at once. When you want to take the management of your emergency lighting systems to the next level, we have a system to suit your needs that is suitable for small or large sites.
Teknoware’s advanced central monitoring systems, ACM and WebACM, make it possible to connect central battery systems to a building automation system using BACnet, with the BACnet interface providing information about the status of the system and the luminaires as BACnet objects. Luminaire and duration tests can also be initiated using Teknoware ACM.
Teknoware also has remote monitoring solutions available for self-contained systems, including the AaltoCtrl PC software suite and the AaltoCtrl WMU wall-mounted wireless monitoring unit.
Remote Monitoring for Central Battery Systems
Advanced Central Monitoring & Web Advanced Central Monitoring software (ACM & WebACM)
Remote monitoring software for the property-specific monitoring of several central battery systems
Advanced Central Monitoring (ACM) and Web Advanced Central Monitoring (WebACM) are remote management suites for our addressable central battery systems. Both ACM and WebACM can be used for the simultaneous monitoring of up to 150 central battery systems. Both suites are intended for property-specific remote monitoring. They are similar in most ways, but ACM uses its own, separate network (RS485), while WebACM operates over the Ethernet.
ACM and WebACM allow the placement of luminaires and central battery units in the property’s floor plans. The remote monitoring software shows the status of the central battery unit and the luminaires connected to it as well as the test log. Both suites require a Windows terminal device and Java support to operate. In case of deviations, both ACM and WebACM automatically send email to the addresses specified by the user.

A BACnet can be connected to both suites for transferring the central system data to the building management system. One BACnet module can be used for the monitoring of 30 central battery units.
Web Central Monitoring interface (WebCM)
An online remote monitoring system for the monitoring of an individual central battery system
The WebCM interface allows you to manage a Series 6 central battery system centrally online regardless of your location. The solution includes a Web module, which is fitted in the central battery unit. Each central battery unit has a unique IP address, and the connection is made via a web browser. The system does not require a separate software suite; it can be used on any terminal device with an Internet connection.
The WebCM remote management interface shows the status of the central battery system and the luminaires connected to it as well as the test log. Luminaire tests and duration tests can also be initiated through the interface. WebCM is available for addressable 65C central battery units.

BACnet interface
For connecting the central battery unit to a building management system
BACnet interface allows you to connect the central battery unit to the building management system. The BACnet interface provides information about the status of the system and the luminaires as BACnet objects.
Luminaire and duration tests can also be initiated this way.

Made in Finland
We pride ourselves on delivering sustainable, cost-effective solutions for emergency lighting in buildings, ships, tunnels and other challenging environments. Teknoware emergency luminaires are designed and manufactured in our own factory in Lahti, Finland, and tested to ensure that they meet strict requirements and high quality standards set for emergency lighting fixtures.
