Switch Controllers

Switch Controllers allow emergency lights to be controlled with a light switch or timer under normal circumstances.

With TST28xx model Switch Controllers, in normal circumstances, the emergency lights in the central battery system can be operated using a light switch or controlled by a timer. However, when an emergency occurs, the Switch Controllers change the power source to the central battery system and the luminaires are automatically switched on, regardless of the settings of any timer or light switch.

TST8501 model Switch Controllers, which are ideal for use in distribution panels, function in such a way that whenever the power supply to the normal lighting is disrupted the emergency lighting is automatically switched on.

All Switch Controllers are compatible with all Teknoware 230 VAC/DC output central battery systems. They can also be used together with Local Controllers.

TST28xx model Switch Controllers also have a dimming control output which can be used to automatically dim the luminaires during DC operation. The output is compatible with electronic ballasts that are equipped with 1-10 V analog control input, according to IEC 60929.
