Teknoware Environmental Product Declarations now available for ESC 80 and ESC 90 self-contained emergency exit lights.
Teknoware has published the company’s first Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for the emergency exit lights of the self-contained systems ESC 80 and ESC 90. An EPD is a standardised, third-party verified environmental product declaration that provides transparent and comparable information on a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle.
The publication forms a part of our long-term efforts to increase transparency regarding the environmental impact of our products and to provide customers with information on our sustainability performance. We are constantly working to add EPDs for an increasing number of our products.
The utilisation of EPDs is increasing in construction projects, as reliable and consistent reporting on the environmental impact of products is more important than ever. EPDs provide designers, developers and other stakeholders with comparable information to support decision-making, and help to achieve sustainability and environmental rating targets for construction projects.
