This new division provides high-quality lighting and interior solutions for the bus, coach and special vehicle market globally. The business director is Jukka Kärkkäinen, a long-time expert from Teknoware.
Better customer service around the world
We offer customized interior lighting solutions and complete interior structures for buses, coaches and special vehicles. Our sales and production units are located in Finland, Poland, England, the United States and Malaysia. We operate globally but close to our customers. The head of the new business, Jukka Kärkkäinen, says that the change will benefit customers: "With this project, each of our customers will have the support of our global and highly professional customer service and design team, as well as a named contact person, who will often be in our nearest unit. This is how we can provide service close to the customer at all stages, and it’s how we are able to take into account local and customer-specific requirements."
Meet our new Business Manager
Jukka Kärkkäinen started his career at Teknoware in 2004. Since then, he has worked in international positions as a Project Manager, Area Sales Manager and Export Assistants' Team Leader. Jukka has now lived in the USA for almost three years, where he has been the Director of Sales and Projects in Teknoware’s US unit. Jukka is currently working in his new position from the USA. However, in August, he will move back to Finland with his family, and he will be located at our headquarters in Lahti, Finland.
The global economic situation is challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Still, Jukka is able to see the positive side: "Global emission reduction targets require the development of public transport and electrification, and this ensures that there will be a need for new buses, coaches and special vehicles. I look forward to working with our clients, many of whom I know from over the years. Together, we are all building a brighter and cleaner future," Jukka says.
