Rolling Stock Solutions

Teknoware’s modern train lighting systems can be found all over the world, from Australia to the USA. Our global presence is strong, due to our strong know-how in different requirements and specifications for train lighting. Our aim is to support the client with the design, production and delivery of individual lighting for trains. Therefore, client support is key. We have our own project department, which assists the client with any type of train lighting.

At Teknoware, project support is given in the design of mechanical structures and also in electronic development. Part of our service is the assistance with documentation, such as light-level simulation, life cycle cost calculations (LCC and RAM) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) analysis. On top of everything else, Teknoware has its own laboratory where most of the required type tests can be performed to assure that the train lighting electronics are designed according to client requirements and international specifications.

In Finland, clients are supported by a skilled sales team that is able to assist clients with the delivery of materials. Therefore, Teknoware is able to provide full service to the client by providing the entire process, from the preliminary sketches of train lighting to the actual product.

Teknoware´s train lighting range consists of both interior and exterior lighting systems. The train lighting solutions cover a nominal voltage range from 24 VDC to 110 VDC and 230 VAC, along with several special models. We are also constantly designing new models to fulfil our clients' needs. For more information, do not hesitate to contact us or one of our sales representatives.

A big part of the client support is the vertical integration of Teknoware’s production. The electronics and mechanical parts for train lighting are manufactured in-house. Our production is automated as much as possible, and the products are tested at several stages of the production, which is important in producing a reliable and safe product for train lighting.
